Established in 1996 in Colona, Illinois Rock River Arms is manufacturing and supplying firearms worldwide. They specialize in AR15/M16 type rifles. Rock River Arms was founded and is operated by the Larson brothers Mark and Chuck Larson. Primarily the company was named as Tolerance Plus and later was changed to Rock River Arms. It supplies arms to law enforcement agencies like DEA and FBI. Now they are operating with more than 50 employees and earns an annual revenue of $22 million.

Though previously Rock River Arms used to build AR15 pattern rifles and M1911 pattern pistols, now they solely concentrate on manufacturing AR15 pattern rifles, parts and other such accessories.
