Adams Arms is a gun manufacturing company that produces rifles and rifle parts based on its own patented gas piston impingement system.

 

The AR-15 rifle is one of the most popular rifles of law enforcement and civilian shooters because of its modularity and accuracy. Adams Arms has made some changes to this iconic rifle, and has completely re-designed its gas system by using a short stroke/long stroke piston to replace the direct gas impingement operating system. Jason Adams, both an engineer and a recreational shooter, started to put together his own piston kit. The result of this hard work is the Adams Arms Retrofit Piston System – which is the first and only patented retrofit kit for the AR-15.
